SHIELD is a low‑profile, lightweight, modular hybrid respiratory system used by CBRN/HAZMAT and special‑mission units globally. It converts quickly between SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), PAPR (Powered-Air Purifying Respirator), APR (Air Purifying Respirator) and SAR (Supplied Air Respirator) modes and supports six different respiratory configuration options to suit the mission.
