Backpack Radionuclide Identifier

RanidPro200

A backpack RIID that couples high‑volume spectroscopy with very low false‑alarm rates and full reachback. Operators get a web‑based UI, internal mapping with GPS, and history tools to manage searches and evidence. IEC 62694:2022 compliant.

Why teams choose it
  • Automatic energy stabilisation = stable IDs during long searches.
  • Neutron channel engineered to reject gamma cross‑sensitivity.
  • Full reachback (WLAN/4G) with prioritised, encrypted LML data transfer.
  • Operator‑friendly: mapping, history, spectrogram, audible search, and ANSI N42.42 export.
How it works

A high‑sensitivity NaI(Tl) or LaBr₃ spectrometer and optional ⁶Li:ZnS(Ag) neutron detector acquire spectra while auto‑stabilising gain. IDs are matched against medical/industrial/SNM/NORM lists; results and geotags are logged and can be sent live for expert review.
