Fixed Radionuclide Identifier
RanidProFX
RanidProFX
A fixed‑installation RIID for portals and critical sites. High sensitivity with sophisticated algorithms keeps false alarms low, while automatic energy stabilisation ensures reliable IDs over long duty cycles. Integrates with EnviScreen monitoring software and offers wired/wireless reachback.
Why teams choose it
- Expert‑grade IDs with full‑spectrum database and easy‑to‑read outputs.
- Simple installation & replacement; designed for continuous service.
- Connectivity options for control room and remote experts.
How it works
Selectable LaBr₃ (38 × 38 mm) or NaI(Tl) (51 × 51 mm) probes feed a processing unit that runs spectral ID against medical/industrial/SNM libraries; outputs include dose rate and categorisation.
Key specifications
- Processor unit / probe size: ≈ 350 × 360 × 120 mm (PU); ≈ 350 (h) × 800 (d) mm (probe)
- Mass: ≈ 10.5 kg (PU); ≈ 1.64 kg (probe)
- Energy range / resolution: 30 keV–5 MeV (LaBr₃, < 3 % @ 662 keV); 30 keV–8 MeV (NaI, < 7.5 %)
- Dose rate: 0.01–100 µSv/h (± 5 %)
- Spectrum: 2048 channels
- Power: 100–240 VAC or 9–36 V DC
- Comms: Ethernet (RJ‑45); optional LAN/WLAN/3.5G; reachback enabled.
Typical applications
Entry‑control portals, steel‑mill feed monitoring, harbours/railways, border/customs, high‑security events, and environmental networks.
