Deployable Accommodation Pods

FlexiPod Accommodation

A rapidly deployable, ISO‑compatible accommodation pod engineered for austere operations. FlexiPod provides private rest cabins (2–6 pax), CBRN‑ready HVAC with positive pressurisation, ballistic resilience, and off‑grid power options (hybrid generator + solar). Optimised insulation, low‑IR coatings, and configurable interiors support both combat and humanitarian missions.

Advantages
  • Protected climate control: CBRN/COLPRO‑compliant HVAC; positive pressure; HEPA option.
  • Force‑protection features: STANAG 2920 standard ballistic protection; options toward STANAG 4569; low‑IR/EMS signature.
  • Off‑grid ready: Hybrid generator (petrol/LPG), flexible solar, 230/400 V charging; 15 kWh or 20 kWh energy packages.
  • Deployable anywhere: road/sea ISO handling, forklift, underslung CH‑47; two units fit a C‑130.
  • Hygiene & sustainment: odourless toilet, hand‑wash station, storage and refrigeration.
How it works

The containerised shell integrates an insulated envelope and medical‑grade ventilation. Maintain positive pressure to reduce ingress; the integrated power pack runs HVAC and services, topped by solar where available. Independent ventilation per bed maintains comfort and hygiene in shared pods.

Key specifications
  • Cabins: 2, 4 or 6‑pax layouts with separate ventilation and power outlets.
  • Insulation: high‑performance panels; λ ≈ 0.022 W/m·K; wall 65 mm / ceiling 100 mm / floor 65 mm.
  • Dimensions (interior / exterior): 5,898 × 2,352 × 2,393 mm / 6,058 × 2,438 × 2,591 mm.
Typical applications

FOB accommodation, protected clinical rooms, command posts, surge housing during disaster relief.
