Compact All‑Terrain Multipower UTV

Ranger® HIPPO (Polaris® Ranger Diesel + HIPPO 1041P)

The Ranger® HIPPO is an ultra‑light, all‑terrain alternative to traditional maintenance contact vehicles—built for teams that need to reach remote worksites and arrive with the right power on board. Developed through collaboration between Polaris® Defense and HIPPO Multipower, it combines the off‑road capability of the Polaris Ranger Diesel with the integrated HIPPO 1041P mobile power unit.

This platform delivers hydraulic power, compressed air, electrical output and DC welding from a single vehicle. It is powered by the Ranger’s diesel engine, which means one engine to maintain—helping reduce maintenance burden and increase productivity in the field.

Why teams choose the Ranger HIPPO

  • 4‑in‑1 capability: Hydraulic, air, electric and welding outputs in one mobile platform.
  • All‑terrain access: Reach sites typically inaccessible to heavier or less mobile vehicles.
  • Single-engine simplicity: Powered by the vehicle’s diesel engine to help reduce servicing complexity.
  • Mission-ready payload: Supports transport for up to 3 personnel and up to 500 lb of cargo in the box (approx. 227 kg).

Ideal for

  • Military
  • Municipalities and local government works
  • Rail and rail infrastructure maintenance
  • Commercial agriculture
  • Universities and campuses
  • Oil and gas exploration
  • Emergency response
