Hard-Case CBRNE Sampling Kit

QSA102HC FAC®

When sampling must be traceable, supportable and defensible, your kit matters. The QuickSilver Analytics QSA102HC FAC® is a field-portable, self-contained CBRNE sampling kit in a hard-case format, designed for teams collecting chemical, biological, radiological (wipe) and explosive samples in hazardous or non-permissive environments.

The kit’s workflow is built around clean and/or sterile single-use packaged tools, designed to help minimise cross-contamination and support reliable evidence/sample handling while working in PPE.

Why teams choose QSA102HC FAC®

  • Chemical tools are cleaned/screened: chemical sampling tools are cleaned/screened for over 10 chemical warfare-related compounds and a list of TICs/TIMs.
  • Biological tools are sterile: biological sampling tools are specified as sterile.
  • Multi-threat sampling capacity: supports collection of chemical, biological, radiological (wipe) and explosive samples from a single kit.
  • PPE-friendly single-use packaging: items packaged for single use are designed to be easy to open while wearing PPE.
  • Serial numbered for reach-back: each kit is individually serial numbered for reach-back.
  • Resupply supported: each item in the kit can be repurchased for easy resupply.
  • Operational module layout: separated into modules to support efficient use during operations.
  • FAC® heritage: manufacturer states the kit was designed, developed, fabricated and utilised by the U.S. Army ECBC Forensic Analytical Center (FAC®) Mobile Labs and Kits Team.

Sampling capability

  • Chemical: obtain nine chemical samples (liquid, wipe, or solid)
  • Biological: obtain five biological samples (liquid, wipe, or solid)
  • Radiological: obtain six radiological samples (wipe)
  • Explosive: obtain three explosive samples

Module layout (hard case)

The QSA102HC FAC® is organised into modules and functional sections to support fast, structured field sampling:

  • Liquid Module
  • Solid Module
  • Wipes Module
  • Biological Module
  • Radiation Pocket/Packet
  • Powder Screening
  • Tools & Consumables

Clean and sterile component assurance (traceable by lot)

Chemically cleaned components: the kit contains chemically cleaned components that have been cleaned and packaged to help preclude cross-contamination, and are certified to not interfere with: common chemical warfare agents, precursors and degradation compounds; representative TICs & TIMs; and EPA SW-846 Method Semi VOA chemicals. (Manufacturer states lot-based test reports are maintained.)

Sterile components: the kit contains sterile components with manufacturer-designated expiration dating or “sterile unless the integrity of the package is compromised”. (Manufacturer states certificates of sterility are maintained by lot number.)
