Transfer Dock for Trace ID

Move from detection to identification in minutes. SERSdock transfers scrapings collected with AP4C + S4PF/S4PE onto a SERS substrate for rapid handheld Raman analysis with Serstech instruments (e.g., Arx mkII). The 8 g dock controls solvent dosing for clean, repeatable trace IDs down to 10 µg.

Why organisations choose this dock

  • Seamless workflow: sample with AP4C + S4PF/S4PE, transfer via SERSdock, identify with the Serstech SERS kit and handheld Raman.
  • Trace sensitivity: detection limit of 10 µg with the SERS kit.
  • Compact & light: approx. Ø 26/13 mm × 42 mm, 8 g.
  • Controlled dosing: press/squeeze the 4 ml methanol reservoir to wet the SERS substrate.

What’s included

  • 1 × SERSdock
  • 1 × SERS adapter
  • 10 × Solvent bottles (4 ml methanol)
  • 10 × SERS disks

Specifications

  • Detection limit: 10 µg
  • Dimensions: Ø 26/13 mm × 42 mm (H)
  • Weight: 8 g
  • Sample types: solid and liquid traces
  • Compatible with: Serstech Arx mkII; Serstech SERS kit; AP4C + S4PF/S4PE
  • AP4C can detect potentially hazardous gases. When a liquid or solid is suspected to contaminate a surface, the S4PF/S4PE can be used to determine whether the material is organic and/or contains sulfur (S), nitrogen (N),phosphorous (P), or Arsenic (As).
  • SERS allows for identification of trace amounts (ca 0,1 mg) of the sample even after being heated with S4PF/S4PE.

How it works

Hold the S4PF/S4PE in one hand. With the other, prepare the SERS kit (SERSDock attached). Gently squeeze the solvent reservoir and lift it away to dispense the correct amount of solvent onto the SERS substrate.
